Le Jourdain has consistently remained within TripAdvisor’s top ten restaurants in Paris for some time now (it was number two when we visited) and it’s not hard to see why.
The restaurant serves small tapas-style plates with a focus on fresh fish. The dishes are reasonably priced and they certainly sparked our interest.

The friendly and welcoming staff provided fantastic service
The interesting dishes on the menu
Our firm favourite was the octopus and foie gras ravioli
Really good value for money.
There really was nothing that either of us disliked about this restaurant.
We travelled across town to visit this restaurant, led by the online reviews and I’m so pleased that we did.
We hadn’t reserved when we visited in February and, although they were full they did their best to accommodate us by encouraging us to sit and have some snacks at the bar before moving to a vacant table.
The waiters spoke excellent English and made suggestions to us, making the whole experience more pleasurable.
The octopus and foie gras ravioli and the cockles and oranges were the most interesting dishes that we tried but everything we ordered was fantastic.
I’d thoroughly recommended Le Jourdain to anyone planning on visiting Paris.
Overall verdict: 9/10
Cost of food: The little dishes are 5-7 Euros per plates, we’d recommend 2-3 dishes per person, making for a very affordable dining experience.
